You want to get layers put into your hair. It will thin it out quite a bit. What kind of layers depends on your facial structure. Also on the length. If you want to keep your length, there is not much you can do with a cut, except throw in some layers.

My suggestion would be to start with getting your hair shoulder length or a little longer (unless it already is that length). Have your hairdresser throw in some nice long layers to thin it out a little bit, and then around your face have some long layers outline it.

Again it all depends on your facial structure. Determine that, and ask your hairdresser. If you go and it looks bad, then you need a new hairdresser.

Keep your layers long, and ask if they can thin it out. they will do under lying layers, which they use a razor for this.

Get a long layered cut in the back, and layer it on the sides with the first layer starting at your jaw line. Also, if you use a straightening iron on it, it tends to not make it look so full

oh yeah, an di don't suggest thinning out cause, when the hair starts to grow, u get all this spikes and have to get ashort haircut.

My hair is super thick, layering is a great idea, as I just had it done. Be careful with the use of the "razor" to thin it out...that should be done no more than 3 times a YEAR. Too much use will seriously mess up your hair.

When my hair was one length, I had a "triangle" head. My hair weighed down heavily at the top and "poofed" out at the bottom. After I got my long layers, it looks awesome.
