I wouldnt advise you to use any chemical straightening products since it seems like u have nice looking hair already. But why not try using a blow dryer and flat iron?

don't straighten it!!!
ahh, this kid at my school had the best curly (ur length) hair ever, then one day he came to school with this fuzz bomb of straight hair. It didnt even look like hair anymore... more like lint that comes out of laundry. keep it curly.
if you really must have it straight, get it cut so it isnt shoulder length. some guys hair only starts to get curly when it is grown out.

ghds are best but are expensive, when looking for one go for the one that has the highest temprature.
get any heat protector (you can buy that from a supermarket)
i use loreal.
you will feel really stupid doing this but put half of you hair in bobble.
spray protector on your hair (if you put too much on it will go greasy) and slow put the straighteners at the top and pull slowy down.
then do the top half.
once you have done and put all your hair in place blow your hair with a hairdryer for a few second.
there don't put the straighteners to close to your scalp it will burn badlly!
i actually prefer guys with curly hair so if you can't be bothered leave it as it is!!!!

well you hair sounds great!! but we all want what we cant have, soo, you need to try a straightener, try a cheaper straightener or try a friends first, maybe a sisters. These are great. You need to take small sections, and start from the root to the bottom of you hair. It will take practice, and I'd love to see you do this for the first time. (I'm sure it will be a site) It will becomes a second nature. I think my straightener cost me $24.99 at Walmart 3 years ago, an it still works great. An its my best friend. My hair is so curly/frizzy and out of control, this is the greatest invention. You can even go to a salon an have it done for the first time. A beginner salon like "Cut -n- Curl" they may do it for $8. plus tip. Make some calls. Just tell them you want to have you hair straighten with a straightener. Just to give it a try, what will it cost? Good Luck
