How do i get strait to wavy hair when my hair is thick and strait and kinda long?

i sleep with my hair wet. in th morning i get my hair lightly damp by running my brush under running water and then lightly brushing my hair. then i run a soft gel through the ends and srunch it with my hands.

i also have really thick and straight hair.

curler or curling iron. U can also get ur hair wet, put it in a bun and sleep with it. Cool curls in the morning!!!!

You get get a perm which would be curly not wavy.

But also you could take some moose,gel or hair glue and scrunch it a lil but it has to be wet.

first wet it

brush it out

flip it over

take gel or w/e and put in hands

take hands and squeeze while pushing up

Two tips...

One - Buy a waver... its like a curling iron but rectangular and has little cyclindrical forks on it that make your hair wavy... This looks super pretty when finished although you might want a friend/mom/sis to help you. Try your local beauty supply store and make sure you buy a gold plated (sounds expensive but isnt) one - they heat up a lot quicker and you will get a great result. Make sure you wave al your hair starting with the underhair first and the top of your head last.. make sure the wave iron is close to your scalp to get the best look and spray hair lightly with hairspray before waving each section as this will allow it to last the longest time possible!!

2 - Cheap and Easy - wash your hair and then comb it out. While your hair is still wet, braid it in to 5-6 long braids (start as close to the scalp as you can) and in the morning when it is dry, take out the braids and style the waves... you might want to try spraying your hair with a light hairspray prior to braiding to help the waves stay in longer...

1)don't use conditioner when in the shower

2)let hair air dry

3)pin up the top half of your hair

4)use a 1 inch curling iron

5)spray a 1inchX1inch with curling spray, from over seven inches away

6)curl the section of hair for 15 sections

7)do this to the rest of the bottom portion of the hair

8)once the bottom half is done, let down the top half of your hair

9)repeat this process on the top half of your hair

10)wait till hair is dry and settled

11)with your fingers, carefully separate the pieces until the waves look natural
