Hair cut for puffy, thick , and lots of hair?

i've tried all sorts of hair cuts! layers, short, medium, and i tried letting my hair grow but it takes a very, very, very, very, very,very, very,very long time! in about 6 months i grows up to 1 cm and a half! how can i make it grow very fast? or what hair cut should i try?!!!!

Get regular trims on your hair [about 1/2 and inch every few months]. It will help your hair grow out. Those ads you see in magazines that say they'll help your hair grow out don't work. I've tried a few of them and it was really just a waste of money.

Since your hair is puffy, I definitely wouldn't reccommend a short cut on you. They require lots of work, like straighening and anti-frizz serums, etc. So just try and let it grow out and be patient. It will grow eventually and soon you'll have long hair that you like. For now, try getting a 1/2 inch to an inch cut off your hair and just use anti-frizz cream on it so it doesn't puff.

you cant really do anything. dont get layers, that makes it more poofy. dont shampoo a lot, it makes it frizzy. just use a lot of conditioner to get nice curls.

WELL JUST KEEP TRIMMING YOUR HAIR AND THAT WILL MAKE YOUR HAIR GROW FASTER MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY A JAPANESE PERM (STRAIGHT OR CURLY) READ UP ONIT FIRST BUT IT CAN BE EXPENSIVE OR YOU CAN JUST A NORMAL PERM - OR MAYBE HAVING A DIFFERENT HAIR COLOUR MITE CHANGE YOUR HAIR TOTALLY MAYBE ITS YOUR HAIR COLOUR YOU DONT LIKE BUT YOU DONT RELISE IT - HOPE THAT HELPED EVEN THO IT WASNT ALL ON THE SUBJECT YOU ASKED FOR :P BYEE XXX

keep it washed lik every other day for normal and everyday for nrmal hair i think vo5 is the bestest shampoo and always condition second and sleep with ur hair up on top of ur hair

try going to a good salon and getting it thinned out. it reaally helps.

i have the same hair type as you. thinning it out helps the poofyness and thickness so much. i just got mine done two days ago and its a whole lot better. if you decide layers, get long layers. your hair will puff less than with shorter layers. growing hair out would weigh it down more and make it less puffy, but in your case, it takes too long. so just get it thinned out =]

My hair is exactly like that. I get my hair trimmed every month and b4 school starts i get my hair chemically straightened then in middle of school i get a perm. So thats wat i do. it helps alot and is really funny to see everyones expressions when i go back to school!!

I have very thick coarse hair also and it is impossible to find a cut I like. I use biosilk and it helps with the frizz. Try to take some prenatal vitamins, you can buy them over the counter at drug stores. It not only makes your hair grow, your nails will grow also.

ok i have the exact same hair but 10 times woese. go to the hair cut place of a store where you can get hair products. ask them for a product called curls rock by catwalk. it comes in a blue cylinder shaped bottle. you put it in your hair after you wash it and your hair gets really nice. you can do any style with that product exept layer cause you cant really see it.

let it be natural and try trimming it. it makes ur hair seem less and then u can get any type of hairstyle u want. :)
