What to do with long, naturally wavy & thick dark brown hair with bangs?

I have the widows peak, so I keep my bangs. I want to keep my hair long, but I feel like I look like a hippie and my hair is just boring. I've had the front of my hair angled with the bangs pushed to the side already. I don't want that again. Sometimes I wear my bangs straight in the front or I push the bangs to the side, but I always have difficulty with getting them to cooperate either way. I'm going to be working in an office, so a more professional look would help. Any ideas?

Get a good straightener... cut it so its not "hippie" length.

Try a shorter cut with long layers that are an inch or 2 away from the bottom. Bangs, if delt with well, can look porfessional too. I usually straighten my bangs- that works

Layers would definitely do you some good, it would also look wonderful (and professional) if you wear it up in a ponytail.

As a twist try wearing some cute headbands.

Wow how Lucky you are! Find someone who has their hair done in a way that you like and ask them where they get their hair done. Then go to the stylist and have them advise you as to what they think is the right thing for you!
