You are lucky to have so much hair!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I can see your problem. I too have thick hair and have tried every shampoo going, gel, hair mousse, spray etc etc........

I really don't think that any type of product shampoo wise will sort the problem out. Having your hair thinned out at a hairdressers is the only way but it will get rid of the excess bulk you have and they will style it for you in a way you want them too.

Dandruff comes primarily from too much washing of the hair and vigerous scrubbing at the scalp, so if you only wash your hair three times a week, this is sufficient enough and will reduce the dandruff problem. It is because of too much washing that you are depleting natural hair oil that keeps dandruff at bay.

Try not to wash hair unless it is really necessary as the more oil left in the hair the better. Also, a good product to use to keep the hair moistered, is VO5 hot oil and will stop dandruff because your hair will lock in the oil at the scalp. But I think getting your hair thinned out will solve the think hair problem for you and you do feel so much better after having it done.

The hairdresser will have a special comb that he or she will run through your hair that will take off a layer or two of your bulkly hair and style it for you too. You will feel better, look better and manage your hair better too.

Hope I have been of help, but no products will change the bulk of hair or dandruff problem (except for vo5 hot oil).

I would use Selsun Blue for the dandruff problem and i would also make it a point to go to the hairdresser liek every two weeks seeing that ur hair is uncontrollable - that way they can put a good relaxer on for you that will help keep yoru hair str8 plus they can professionally flat iron it for you....good luck

I have think hair, think curly and fizzy. Try frizz ease (it will take any frizz out) For dandruff, try T-gel, insteand of H@S. Panteen makes a shampoo called "Ice" that gives your hair a shine to it, condition it with Dove anti friz serum.

i also have thick hair..and i get lots of split ends because i straighten it to make it thinner.

but, if you buy a straightening serum, you could put a bit of that on it, and it willmake your hair smoother..but dont put to much on or your hair will get greasy.

i hope that helped!

I really don't know about the whole dandruff thing but I have a friend who gets her thick, unmanageable, curly hair chemically straightened. Its called a straight perm and she LOVES it. It looks really good and it makes her hair flatter and she really doesn't have to do any styling to it at all anymore. It is pricey though but it lasts 6 months or longer. If you are interested call around about prices and go get a consultation, the stylist will be able to give you advice on the flakes too.

When you get your next haircut ask the person cutting your hair for their advice about how to keep your hair sleek and stylish. Chances are they'll know just the thing and get questions like yours all the time. (They are professionals after all!)

You can have it cut- ask for textured, and thinned, this will help. Follow other advice for frizz.

thick- get your hair thinned out when you get it cut, not layered because it will look even fuller

dandroff- try t-gel shampoo for dandroff, it costs alittle more but it works, u only need a little, the smell isn't the best so use a nice smelly good conditioner after

frizzy- don't use gel, silk balm works for me by pantene
