I do straighten my hair sometimes, but i am looking for a way to make my hair look shiny while it is still wavy or curly.

hmm my friend has curly hair and i think she uses some certain shampoo...try something made for curls, it could help smooth them out. i know she uses gel and that makes it crunchy, but i dont know if you want that. try john frieda products, they have the "curl around" shampoo and conditionar, as well as finishing creams, mousses and sprays.

i have curly hair that sounds like yours and it looks terrible when i let it just dry so what i do is wash it with really cold water i use dove shampoo and conditioner but yeah it totally works and i love it so there is that suggestion with out having to go buy some expensive shampoo and conditioner Report It

wash your hair, then use anti-friz serum while its wet. this should make your hair less static-y and more smooth %26amp; shiny. then i guess you could blow dry it and end up with some nice curls :]

Get a product called Frizz-Ease by john frieda. It contains silicone, and it will smooth your hair down nicely. Just a liilte though, and blow dry on low, or ait dry.

don't shoot me down... but you could try curling your hair so you control the curls more... I have a friend whos got curly puffball hair (love her dearly) and she sometimes curls her hair and it looks lovely... try getting the little packet of curlers that comes in a bag that you plug in and it heats up each curler... much better than the curlers people normally get which creates more ringlettes... looks more natural, good luck!
