Well start off with a smoothing cream. And if you have frizzies use a anti-frizz serum. Then Flat Iron it in little sections. What I do is put it in a pony tail, and take out a little bit of the bottom..starighten it.. then take out more.. straighten it.. take out more.. you get what i mean? =]

Get a ceramic hair straightener. They work the best. If you want it done permanently, their are lots of salons that use Chi. It will make your hair silky straight, but it costs a lot of money (between $500 - $1000, depending on the length of your hair).

I have curls and I use the ceramic straightener and put biosilk on afterwards. The biosilk makes your hair soft and shiny, plus it smells really good!

Ok, according to my stylist I have 600 pounds of hair and it is incredibly wavy so I may be able to help. I usually blow dry my hair, put on Tresemee(spelling) heat protectant spray and straighten my hair in 1" sections. I use the scuni (spelling) clips that my stylist uses to hold my hair up before and after so I can focus on one section at a time. These clips don't leave an indention and don't hurt. I would suggest drying it with a curling brush to get it pretty straight, then use a hair straightener if you want it super straight. Just don't use the straightener too much, it's terrible for you hair. I would advise you to use Kenra Thermal Heat Spray on your hair before straightening it- it will protect your hair.

Well, I also have very thich,wavy hair, and ALOT of it. But my mom told me this trick when I was little on how to get it straight, even though it doesnt feel THAT much thiner. Just buy some straighting gel or creme, and put it it damp hair, after you've taken a shower. Than, blow dry it section by section with a brush lightly, till it's dry. Than PRESTO! Straight hair!

Yes actually. My hair is extremey thick and wavy. Use a straightening iron where the plates are gold colored. It makes your hair very straight and shiny. You should also brush your hair out very well before you straighten it because otherwise you'll have a lot of knots stuck in your hair.
